VALA is seeking volunteers to act as Art Stewards and help us with the daily
operations of VALA. As a VALA Art Steward, you will have the
opportunity to use your skills, connect with artists and the public while helping operate
this very special community public art venue in Kirkland. VALA is looking for
volunteers who are passionate about art, enjoy interacting with the public and feel
committed to raising awareness about art in our community.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the venue.
- Greeting guests as they arrive.
- Distributing information about VALA and our programming.
- Familiarizing yourself with the artwork on display and directing visitors to artist
contact information.
- Other opportunities may become available.
